Huge Potential Opportunities for Trained Locksmiths in London

Burglary and vehicle crime remain constant concerns in London, with residents and businesses seeking effective security measures to protect their properties.
London has an overall crime rate of 104 crimes per 1,000 people, placing it above the UK average. As is common throughout the county, certain crimes are more common in London, including robbery, burglary, and vehicle crime.
For example, robberies have increased by 13% in the past three years and occur at more than five times the national average. There were 52,799 reports of burglary in the past 12 months, occurring at almost double the UK average, while almost 3,000 reports of vehicle crime in the same period are almost triple the average rate.
So, with an increased risk of vehicle crime, robberies, and burglaries, Londoners continue to look for dependable locksmithing services to boost security and limit the risks of these crimes occurring. Locksmithing in London is, therefore, a highly lucrative career, with all kinds of great-paying work opportunities, including self-employment, working with a locksmithing business, commercial locksmithing, and residential locksmithing.
One of the most common locksmithing services, residential locksmithing, involves repairing, installing, and maintaining various locking systems used around the home. You’ll also cut keys, provide emergency locksmithing services for people locked out, repair window locks, and much more.
Commercial locksmithing often involves similar general services like lock fitting, lock repairs, and lock maintenance for businesses across London. More advanced jobs include the design, installation, and maintenance of sophisticated security systems, such as access control systems.
Simply put, locksmithing is a versatile career that opens doors to many unique and well-paying opportunities, not to mention long-term job stability and ample chance to progress your career. If you want to be a locksmith in London, then an MPL Locksmith Training course is a great way to learn essential skills in the trade needed to find full-time employment.

Ashton Pioneer Homes

In December 2018 I sent two of my operatives to MPL for locksmith training. The training was excellent and they have been able to put this in to good use. It has shortened the time taken for evictions and helped us portray a more professional image in front of bailiffs and other staff. I would highly recommend them for training and for purchasing the right tools.

I am new to locksmithing, do I need any qualifications to train as a locksmith?
Whilst you don’t need any qualifications to train, you need a desire and a commitment to learn. It always helps if you come from a manual job or background and that you’re used to working with the tools you’ll need.
