Lincoln-based Graham Wilson has unlocked the keys to a brand new business venture after qualifying as a locksmith.
Graham, 37, was formerly in the Armed Forces as a Vehicle Mechanic (REME) but had his career cut short due to being injured and then medically discharged from the Army. He recently decided on a change of direction by enrolling on one of the training courses run by Wakefield-based locksmith specialists MPL. Graham’s course was funded with Elcas learning credits available to ex Forces personnel.
Graham, who has set up His own Business GSW Locksmiths, commented “The MPL course that gives you all the knowledge and confidence you’ll need to go it alone and comes with City & Guilds accreditation. That offers peace of mind to my customers and assures them I’m up to the job!”
Nicky England, Director with MPL, commented: “We’re delighted to see Graham graduate from our locksmith training course. It’s a great option for those wanting to take a different course and learn a trade that will always be in demand.”
