MPL is helping fire services across the UK to unlock the damaging issue of gaining forced entry to a property by supplying specialist locksmith tools.
Fire services are increasingly being asked to gain access to locked properties in order to deal with welfare issues, emergencies etc.
MPL is currently providing a number of fire services with lock puller kits that enable access to uPvc and composite doors in less than 2 minutes.
MPL Director Nicky England commented
“The amount of damage caused by forced entry can often run into hundreds of pounds. Using our lock puller kits results in far less damage, sometimes resulting in just a £4 for a replacement cylinder.”
“We’ve been helping to tackle a similar issue with Shoreline Housing in Grimsby. By training up a number of their staff as locksmiths they are now able to accompany Humberside Police on raids and negate the need to bash down doors,” added Nicky.
