MPL National Locksmith Training School to exhibit at Emergency Services Show

ESS Show September 2016

National Locksmith Training School MPL has registered to exhibit at this year’s Emergency Services Show at the NEC 21st – 22nd September.

It is the first time that MPL, which was recently awarded City & Guilds Accredited Programme status has taken part in the Emergency Services Show, and it comes on the back of an increasing number of staff from the first response services attending their training courses.

MPL Operations Director Nicky England explained further, “we are seeing a growing number of first response service personnel come through our training programmes and it is clear that what we can offer them supports their needs in a really practical sense”.

“We teach them to be able to unlock any kind of door locking mechanism – rapidly and non-destructively.  It wins on both accounts for them – people’s safety and security is of course their number one priority at all times, but we cannot lose sight of the impact on budgets of doors having to be replaced or repaired, so the fact that we can show them how to get into PVCu, Aluminium and timber doors non-destructively by having the right tools coupled to the right skills to do the job is a significant step forward for them”.

“Those who have already been through our training programmes have been quick to come back to us and tell us what a positive impact it has had”.

Richard Jenkins from Devon and Cornwall Police who recently sent three instructors on our courses commented “In case any force is considering going further down the non-destructive Method of Entry route, we at Devon and Cornwall recently sent 3 instructors on a 3-day Locksmith Course run by MPL. Highly recommended it has transformed the way we use Snappers, Pullers and Mica Cards together with opening up new avenues of drilling & picking (you never know!)”.

“The course was very bespoke and the instructor more than happy to adapt to our needs. If you want any more info, feel free to contact me”. [email protected]

“Going to the Emergency Services Show is a natural process for us this year – as I said we are working with increasing numbers of people from the emergency services and we know we have something to offer which can give them the support they need”.

Visit MPL on stand M21 during the Emergency Services Show at NEC 21st – 22nd September.

Locksmith Training

They specialise in the uPVC side of the market with their sister company MPL being the biggest uPVC door lock distributor in the entire country. They have been working within the industry for years and they know where the gaps are in the market.

For a locksmith with the right skillset there is plenty of work available, and by taking part in an MPL Locksmith Training Course you are ensuring that you are taught these essential skills and setting yourself apart from other professionals out there in the market.

Given that over 80% of doors are uPVC today it is obvious that training in this area is going to be invaluable for drawing in more work. If you are prepared to put in the time and effort to train in these areas and market your business, something that MPL can also assist you with, then you really will reap the benefits, source the work and make a great living from locksmithing.

In addition to uPVC training MPL also will train you to tackle wood doors and aluminium doors, equipping you with the skills to attack the gap in the market and carry out jobs with confidence, ensuring that you can attend any and all jobs that you are called to unlike other locksmiths out there.

All locksmith-training courses with MPL are fully accredited by NCFE, with a 99% pass rate. Trainers Graham and Mark deliver the course with over 60 years combined experience, they run successful locksmithing businesses and are 100% dedicated to providing one on one tuition in small training groups.

Excellent Service from MPL Locksmith Training Student

Here at MPL Locksmith Training we regularly receive feedback from our students about the skills they have gained while taking our locksmith training courses. However we don’t often receive feedback from customers who our students have completed work for… until now.

One of our students (Martyn Firth) was recently called to help fix an issue with a local customer’s garage door lock. Martyn completed both the 5 Day Ultimate Locksmith Training Course and the 2 Day Advanced Locksmith Training Course with us here at MPL, which enabled and gave him the skills to complete the job in hand.

When the job was completed, Martyn received the following feedback which he has passed on to us:

garage-door-lock-and-lock-replacement

“Totally excellent. We found a problem (garage key wouldn’t come out of lock) at 3.15. Pleasant, efficient human being on the phone, promised locksmith would arrive before 5.30. In fact Martyn Firth came by 4.20, and in 15 minutes he had shown us the problem, dismantled lock, and agreed with us that it wasn’t one to just fit back in; part of the lock had worn away inside, so was stopping key turning. New lock fitted, total cost £100 (we’d been told call out was £60). Worth every penny for speedy service, efficient explanation, and exceptionally pleasant Martyn; ask for him personally.”
